Former Fire Chief retires from Burleson

Former Farmersville Fire Chief Gary Wisdom recently announced his retirement from the fire service.

He served as Burleson Fire Department’s first full-time paid fire chief for more than 17 years and had a retirement reception Dec. 17.

He recognized past city managers and councils, the support of his family, and his gratitude for the work of his firefighters.
