Students from Farmersville and Blue Ridge picked up several top awards at the Collin County Junior Livestock Show last week, including the grand and reserve grand champion honors in the market swine division.

The stock show was held at Myers Park Event Center in McKinney and ended Saturday with a ribbon sale of market animals. In a ribbon sale, buyers reward showmen for their efforts but the exhibitors retain ownership of their animals.

At the market show, Blue Ridge FFA member Jaci Horton showed the Grand Champion Swine and Farmersville FFA member Jenson McTee showed the Reserve Champion Swine.
