Mary Jeanne Baker Cox’s 1941 Studebaker which has been featured in 40 years worth of Farmersville parades was featured by her family in the FHS Ex-Students Association Hall of Fame.
A Farmersville icon was inducted into the FHS Ex-Students Association Hall of Fame over the weekend.
Mary Jeanne Baker Cox was inducted posthumously Oct. 1.
“If ever there was a citizen who embodied the spirit of this community, it is this year’s Hall of Fame recipient,” Award presenter Larry Wisdom said of Mary Jeanne. “I have stood here before and introduced many amazing people who lived in this community and who left here, and in truth, shaped the lives and destiny of people all over the world. This year’s inductee did much of the same; the only difference is she invested in this community right here, but in such a way that countless lives were touched all over the world.”
