FISD employees to receive salary increase

by | Jun 28, 2018 | Education

Farmersville ISD employees will soon see an increase in their paychecks.

At a meeting Monday, June 25, the school board voted unanimously to give a three percent salary increase to all FISD employees. This will go into effect during the 2018-’19 school year.

According to FISD Board of Trustees President Jeff Hurst, the district has the resources to give this increase, and it is in the budget.

The board also voted in favor in delaying the building of a new press box and including it in high school construction.
