Farmersville City Attorney Alan Lathrom is exercising what he calls “an abundance of caution” while seeking to regulate the off-duty actions of city council.
Lathrom, along with City Secretary Sandra Green, works to ensure that council is not opening itself up to any potential allegation that it is conducting public business without first offering proper public notification when a council majority gathers in the same room.
