Crisis Response Team serves first responders

by | Jan 23, 2020 | Uncategorized

Farmersville’s Crisis Response Team has made a major impact on the quality of emergency response, the city council learned at its Jan. 15 regular meeting.

The report on the team came from Farmersville Fire Captain Joseph Brigandi, who has led the CRT since its formation in early 2019. Brigandi reported to council that in the past year, the team responded to 16 calls for service, affecting 84 residents who needed help. The team’s mission is to provide an extra level of emergency help to first responders in the event of trauma.
