Mayor, two council seats unopposed
The May 2 election was officially cancelled Tuesday night by Farmersville city council.
The mayor’s seat as well as council seats for Place 2 and 4 were up for election this year.
Only one applicant filed for each seat resulting in unopposed races and thus each applicant has been noted as duly elected.
