Sharon Lee Bare

Sharon Lee Bare, born Dec. 3, 1950, in Wilmington, Delaware, to John Peacock Harvell and Margaret (Peggy) Mary Harvell, passed away at home in Farmersville on Sept. 22, 2026.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Bare; son, Michael Thomas Fleming; brother, John Harvell and his wife, Beth Harvell; sister, Marielaina Withnell and her husband, Kirt Withnell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Harvell; brothers Carl Harvell and Kevin Harvell; and niece Heather Harvell.

She and her husband moved to Farmersville from Wylie in 1985. A loving person who cared deeply for others, Sharon especially enjoyed spending time with young children. She loved writing letters and sending cards to friends and spent many Sunday mornings volunteering to care for very young children at First Baptist Church in Farmersville.

Sharon was a charter member of Collin County New Beginnings in Christ Church in Blue Ridge, Texas.

She was cremated, and a memorial service date has not yet been determined.
