Steven Glen Watts, 47, passed away on July 11, 2026, in Austin, Texas. Born on May 28, 1979, in Hereford, Texas, Steven grew up in his hometown of Farmersville, Texas. He lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a passion for technology.
Steven graduated from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he studied Aviation Electronics Technology and earned a place on both the Dean’s List and the President’s Honor Roll. He was a dedicated student which opened the door to greater opportunities in the technology field.
As his career advanced, Steven worked at FlightSafety International as a Simulator Technician repairing and maintaining U.S. Military flight training systems. He later joined Siemens Corporation as a Systems Quality Inspector, continuing to pursue what he enjoyed most. His career was a testament to his dedication and technical expertise.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, his beloved rescued dog, Princess Leia, held a special place in his heart and instantly became the center of his world.
Those who knew Steven will remember him as a loving and compassionate person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His witty sense of humor and unwavering positive attitude were an unforgettable part of who he was.
Steven is survived by his grandmother Rosemary Ami; his parents, Naomi and Robert Pearson; and his siblings Christopher Watts, Jonathan Waller, Stephanie Pearson, and Mandy Burnside; and his beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his grandparents William D. Pearson and Mary B. Pearson.
