Adopt an Angel this Christmas

by | Dec 10, 2020 | Uncategorized

Farmersville residents can make the holidays a little brighter for less fortunate children by adopting a Christmas Angel and filling their wish list.

Eighty angels out of the 300 who signed up, remain available for adoption.  This year, the initial amount of those in need is considerable higher than the 223 children served by the outreach in 2019.

The Angel Tree project is part of Farmersville Outreach Alliance in cooperation with FUMC, Farmersville Police and Fire, Farmersville Independent School District, Farmersville Rotary Club, Farmersville Chamber of Commerce, Toys for Tots and individuals throughout the community.

Angels can be adopted by visiting farmersvilleoutreach.com

The goal of the project is to put together gift baskets valued at about $100 each for the children on the list.

Donations to the effort can be made online on the Outreach Alliance website.  Sponsorships and volunteers to help collect donations and gifts are always needed.

Gifts purchased for distribution to children can be dropped off at the police department.
