Band heads to state for first time

Despite rainy conditions, Farmersville residents showed up in force to support the Fightin' Farmers Marching Band as they headed to state for the first time in the school's history Nov. 1. They received an escort by the Farmersville Fire Department and Police Department. The marching band placed 11th out of 281 bands in the 3A division.
