Egg hunts will keep residents hoppin’

Easter egg hunting opportunities are in no short supply as the Spring holiday approaches.

At First Baptist Church of Farmersville, the annual Easter Eggstravaganza will be taking place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13 next to the youth warehouse in the parking lot and grassy areas located on Farmersville Parkway.

There will be bounce houses, train rides, petting zoo and Easter Egg hunts.

The event is free, organizers said. The church is located at 124 S. Washington Street.

First United Methodist Church will be hosting an Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt April 13 at 1:30 p.m. There will be games, prizes and three egg hunts.

The church is located at 206 N. Main St. Simplexity Boutique, located in downtown Farmersville, will be hosting the Easter Bunny for photo opportunities April 13 starting at 10 a.m.

The annual VFW Easter Egg hunt will occur at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20 at noon behind the post located at 671 W. Audie Murphy Pkwy. Take Easter bunny pics and enjoy lunch served by the Booster Club.
