The Farmersville football players are getting the chance to compete in some live action this spring, and made the trip to Princeton last Wednesday, May 8. There, they and the Panthers took part against one another in a 7-on-7 passing session in preparation for the 2024 season.
Class 4A teams can’t hold spring football sessions like the schools in the state’s top classes. Still, passing events like this give them the chance to play against a live opponent.
With that in mind, Coach Zac Quinlan is taking advantage of the opportunities for his team to compete this spring. The Farmers graduate a big class from last fall’s roster, leaving plenty of holes to fill before the guys kick things off next August.
“This time of year is big for us,” Coach Quinlan said.
