Community scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to turn a close 3-1 game into an 8-1 rout. Three of the five runs were scored on errors. The other two came on back-to-back singles.
Farmersville’s only run came on an RBI groundout by Haley Watkins in the top of the fourth. Pollard, who led off the inning with a single, scored.
The Lady Farmers (0-3 in district) were held to two hits.
Against Wills Point, Farmersville’s lone tally came courtesy of an RBI double by senior catcher Jacey Wheaton in the bottom of the first inning.
