FARMERSVILLE – The only time that Farmersville didn’t score in last Friday’s 65-27 rout of Bonham came when sophomore quarterback Levi McAbee took a kneel down to burn the remaining 29 seconds off the game clock from Farmers Stadium.

Fresh off their bye week, the Farmers’ offense continued their explosive ways. Farmersville scored touchdowns on their first nine possessions and hung 51 first-half points on the Warriors.

Junior running back Gordon Swartz had three touchdowns on runs of 60, 1 and 10 yards. Sophomore quarterback Levi McAbee added four touchdown passes on throws of 48, 56, 52 and 19 yards.

Farmersville scored 30 unanswered points in the first half after Bonham had tied the score at 14-14.

Two of those points came on a safety when Farmersville sophomore Amare Warren tackled a Bonham player in the end zone retreating to get the ball after the Warriors had a snap go over the head of their punter.

It was the fifth straight win for Farmersville (5-1, 2-0).
