Schools, food pantries continue meeting needs

by | Jun 4, 2020 | Education

With the school year over, many parents are left wondering how their children will find regular meals this summer.

Luckily, there are several options for local families.

Farmersville ISD is continuing its curbside meal pickup program into the summer, concluding on June 24.

Meals will be served at Farmersville Intermediate from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch is served at the same time.

Farmersville Outreach Alliance is also a local resource, offering food in the community. The pantry, located in First United Methodist Church, 206 N. Main, Farmersville, is open the first and third Monday of each month.

For information about the pantry call 972.782.7310 or see their website www.farmersvilleoutreach.com
