Election contests to end soon

 Farmersville residents who have not voted early head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3, to cast their ballots for federal, state and county offices.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Farmersville City Hall, 205 S. Main St., is the sole voting location in town, but voters can cast ballots at any voting location in the county.

Heading ballots is the presidential election between Republican incumbent Pres. Donald Trump and Demo­cratic nominee Joe Biden, followed by contests for U.S. Senate and U.S. Representative. State of­fices up for a vote include Railroad Commissioner, Texas Supreme Court and Court of Criminal Ap­peals, State Representative, Court of Appeals and District Judge.
