Creativity continues on the square

by | Jan 21, 2021 | Latest

Farmersville may soon become a destination for crafters given the latest store opening which compliments many others on the square.

Fancy Fibers recently opened its new space – 3,150 square feet to be exact – next door to Yarn and You at 111 S. Main St. The new storefront is a dream come true, says owner Mary Berry who is no stranger to entrepreneurship after seven years of conducting business at 406 McKinney St.

“It’s really and truly everything I could have dreamed of,” Berry said of her new multi-purpose space which is part store, part studio and part classroom, to allow the former middle school teacher to instruct others in the art of weaving, spinning, rug hooking and much more.
