KRUM –Farmersville led Friday’s game at Krum at halftime and the game was tied after three quarters. But the fourth quarter went in Krum’s direction, as the Bobcats beat the Farmers 34-27 in a District 5-4A DII game at Bobcat Stadium.

Ty Taber scored on a 17-yard run to put his team ahead 32-27, and his two-point conversion gave Krum a  34-27 lead with 7:03 left. Farmersville drove to the Bobcat 21 but sophomore quarterback Levi McAbee was intercepted with 4:25 left, and the Bobcats were able to run out the clock to take home the win.

The loss dropped the Farmers to 3-2 in district and 6-3 overall. Krum improved its district record to 3-2 and 7-2 overall. The Farmers end the regular season at home next Friday against Sanger.
