Mrs. Patsy Ruth Bratcher of Blue Ridge, passed away July 25, 2015, in Farmersville. She was born June 28, 1925, in Farmers- ville, the daughter of Jeff and Tellie Shinn Patterson. She was a graduate of Farm- ersville High School and married John R. Bratcher on Dec. 24, 1947, in Farmersville.
She was a resident of Blue Ridge, for over 60 years, where she and her husband operated Bratcher Hardware for 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge.
Patsy is survived by her son, Johnny Bratcher and his wife, Di- ana of Farmersville; grandson, John Paul Bratcher and his wife, Katee of Whitesboro; granddaughter, Amy Davis of Fairview; and great-grandson, John Paxton Bratcher of Whitesboro.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents; two brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the First Bap- tist Church in Blue Ridge. The Rev. Johnnie Jones officiated. Inter- ment was in the Blue Ridge Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6- 8 p.m. Monday evening at the First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge.
Contributions may be made to the 1st Baptist Church Blue Ridge Building Fund or the Blue Ridge Cemetery Permanent Fund in her honor.
