4H Club hosts open house Monday, Aug. 17

Sugar HIll 4-H Club will be having an open house at 7 p.m. Aug. 17 at the First Baptist Church of Farmersville to kick off the new 4-H year.

Come and find out what all 4-H has to offer for kids 8-18 years old.

Lots of information on the different projects going on here in Farmersville and the surrounding areas.

VFW to open fundraiser snocone stand this week

The Farmersville VFW Post will be opening a snocone stand Friday, Aug. 14 to benefit the post’s outreach fund.

The stand will be in the front parking lot and will be open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

Local meetings set for August

The Farmersville ISD School Board will be hosting their regular meeting 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17. Agenda can be found online at www.farmersvilleisd. net on Aug. 14.

The Farmersville Planning and Zoning will be holding their regular meeting at 6:30 p.m.Monday, Aug. 17.
