$500 reward offered in vehicle burglary case

A $500 reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of suspects involved with a vehicle burglary in Farmersville.

Between 9 p.m. Oct. 10 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 11th unknown suspect(s) knowingly and intentionally entered a victims vehicle in the 100 block of Murchison Street and removed a large amount of property without the consent of the owner. There was some evidence left at the scene as well as partial prints lifted from the victim’s vehicle. Investigators are currently following up on the evidence obtained.The property and product taken was related to candy vending machines as well as personal property. A determined amount of cash was taken in dominations of bills and coins, two bill validaters and a lot of candy products.

Please pay special attention if someone is trying to sell a lot of candy product in the schools or on the street. Additionally, the bill validaters are electronic equipment associated with vending machines.

The victim is offering a $500 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or person’s involved and responsible for this crime. Anyone having information that may lead to the identity of the perpetrator(s) of this burglary of motor vehicle are encouraged to contact Farmersville PD Investigator Marsha Phillips at 972-782-6141.
