Obituary for Lucia Reyes Perez

Lucia Reyes Perez, 71, of Farmersville, Texas passed away on January 21, 2016 in Plano, Texas.  She was born December 23, 1944 in Charcoal, Texas to Juan and Maria Rodrigues Reyes. She married Alvino Perez in September, 1965 in McKinney, Texas.  She worked for Haggar Company for 30 years and before her death she was a homemaker.  She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Wylie, Texas. 

Lucia is survived by son, Alvino Perez, Jr. and his wife Kelley of Celina, Texas, Irma Perez of Farmersville, Lucinda Perez of Farmersville, Mike Perez of Farmersville; sisters, Maria Perez and her husband John of Wylie and Gloria Guerrero and her husband Francisco of Farmersville; brothers, Isabel Reyes and his wife Lupe of Farmersville, Felipe and his wife Janie Reyes of Farmersville, Jesus Reyes and his wife Elizabeth of Farmersville, Margarito and Tonya of Garland and Juan Reyes, Jr. of Farmersville; four grandchildren, Joshua Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Edu Rodriguez and Sierra Shawn Perez; two great-grandchildren, Makiah Rodriguez and Alexis Rogriguez.

She was preceded in death by husband, Alvino Perez, Sr.; parents, and sister, Estella DelFuente.

A visitation was held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 beginning at 9:00 a.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 107 N. Washington Street, Farmersville, Texas.  Services were held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie, Texas.  Father Andrew Semler officiated.  Burial followed in I. O. O. F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas.
