Farmersville Outreach Alliance Food Pantry is on the move during the month of August and will be temporarily relocated to the First United Methodist Church.

Currently at the IOOF Lodge, the pantry has to be relocated due to the lodge becoming more active in the community and getting additional members, according to pantry organizer Judy Brandon.

Though still on the hunt for a permanent location, the pantry will be moving Saturday, Aug. 11 and will reopen to hand out food Monday, Aug. 20. On Monday, Aug. 6 they will be open at the IOOF Lodge.

The pantry, which is available to all Farmersville residents, is open from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the first and third Mondays.

As a certified nonprofit, the Farmersville Outreach Alliance would like to have a space to house its pantry and are on the hunt for such a space since FUMC is a temporary location.

The pantry will be housed in the basement of the church under the sanctuary. The church is located at 206 N. Main St.
