by | May 11, 2023 | Area news, Latest

Jennifer and Troy Patterson opened The Shoppes on Main Saturday, March 15. They will be celebrating their official grand opening and ribbon cutting Thursday, May 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A business originally known for its “rustic creations” now has a permanent home alongside many other shops in a building in downtown Farmersville.

The Shoppes on Main, located at 138 S. Main St.— formerly the home of Clay Potter’s Auction Group — hosts an assortment of 24 merchants under one roof and is managed by Jennifer and Troy Patterson, owners of Rustic Creations.

The business is an independent collection of boutiques, designers and artisans, said Jennifer, adding, “We try to bring in very specific people that are offering products that you can’t find anywhere else in downtown Farmersville.”

Other than their own Rustic Creations, the store currently has 23 other merchants: Fate Based Home & Body, Mike & Mike Rustic & Reclaimed, Rusty Tipton Artist, Peace Love & Houseplants, Beaucoup Too, DeMax Creations, Lucky Sweet Pea Creations, Brandy Clark, K&R Woodworks, Knot So Dope, Happy Camper Originals, Zukko’s Woodworks, Gipsy Bridge, Suite Marketplace, Emmie Rae Co., MC Glam, 37:4 Market, Tailgating Central, Holy Smoke, Rustic Rocks & Southern Trash, Lotus Lane, Fancy That and 650 Designs.
